It's about Time!
Time is the most rigid contraint on our aspirations for success. Unlike manpower or capital, it is finite and immovable. And yet some people seem to do so much more in their allotted time than others.
Managing Time -
The management of time has been the subject of many books and training over the past several decades. Beginning in the 1970s, Alan Lakien and others identified methods that have helped many make more effective use of their daily allotment of time. Still, it remains a skill that is key to personal and organizational success.
Why
Unexpected?
Many people find themselves frustrated when even the best-laid plans for the day are overwhelmed by unexpected and urgent demands that can't always be ignored. This workshop explores the good and bad of both realities-- a predictable and orderly plan and the persistent presence of the unexpected. We ask the question, "What is the goal of the productive person? To stay on plan or to respond flexibly to the unexpected?" The answer may surprise you.
What to expect -
During this one day course, you will learn how to view time and all the things you need to do within its framework with new insights. You will learn how your own basic belief about time management may be the biggest obstacle to significant improvement.
At the conclusion you will never again look at time and time management in quite the same way. You will emerge with new foundational tools that will help you more effectively manage yourself while dealing with the events of your personal or professional life.
